Biography

Georges Lutz competed as a cyclist for both Paris Jean-Bouin and CASG Paris. At the 1908 Olympics he competed in both the 20 km and 100 km track events. Lutz did his national service with the French Army from 1905-07 but stayed in the reserves. He was recalled to the Army in August 1914. Shortly thereafter, in January 1915, Lutz died from typhoid fever at the field hospital in Bar-le-Duc, Meuse, France.
