Biography

Owe Nordqvist rode for Fredrikshofs IF in Stockholm, and was on the Swedish team pursuit at the 1952 Olympics. He won multiple national titles in Sweden, mostly on the roads. Nordqvist won Swedish team road titles in 1945-46 and 1953, the team time trial in 1956, and in 1950-51, won both the team road title and the team relay. His individual palmares included winning the Solleröloppet in 1949 and 1951, the 1954 Swedish road championship over 250 km, and Nordqvist won stage two at the 1954 Ronde van Limburg.
