Biography

Jesús Sarabia was a Mexican cyclist who was active during the late 1960s and early 1970s. In 1968 Sarabia finished second at the Vuelta a Mexico, also winning a stage of the race. That same year he was selected to ride in the road race at his home Olympics in Mexico City, finishing 43rd, just under 10 minutes behind the race winner. The following year he rode in the Peace Race in Europe before finishing 10th at the 1972 edition of the Vuelta a Cuba. Sarabia returned to the Olympics that same year, finishing 10th in the road race at the München Games, this time only 36 seconds behind the winner.
