Károly Teppert started competing in cycling in the colors of Jóbarát KK in 1911 and moved to MTK in December that year. At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics, he competed in the road race, both individual and team. In addition to sports, Teppert also actively participated in the MTK bicycle division and the Hungarian Cycling Federation. After completing his career, he worked as a post officer.
