Biography

Belgian cyclist Albert Wyckmans represented the Royal Antwerp Bicycle Club in Antwerpen in the years after the end of World War I. In 1920 Wyckmans was selected to compete in the road race at his home Olympics. He finished 23rd overall in the individual race, helping Belgium to win bronze in the combined team event. Wyckmans was 97-years-old when he died in June 1995.
