Biography
Austrian field hockey player Fritz Steiner was listed in results as Erwin Landesmann, but later it became known that Landesmann did not travel to the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. He was replaced by Steiner, who played under Landesmann’s name. The Austrian team finished ninth and last in the tournament, losing all matches in the preliminary round, scoring just one goal, against Denmark.
