Biography

Josse Bastiné had a brief field hockey career for the Royal Léopold Club du Bruxelles in the late 1920s, which was highlighted by his selection to the 1928 Olympic team. Though he sat out the first four matches, he played in the bronze medal games against Germany, a 3-0 loss for the Belgians. An alumnus of the Université de Bruxelles, Bastiné later worked for the Bank of Bruxelles.
