Biography

Before he joined the Racing Club de France, Maurice Labeyrie played for Stadoceste Tarbais. He was the unfortunate loser of two championship finals, in 1914 with Tarbes and in 1920 with RC Paris, against Tarbes. A forward at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympic match, Labeyrie won a silver medal when France lost to the United States, 8-0.
