Biography

Villy Moll Nielsen spent his entire domestic field hockey career with Slagelse Hockeyklub. Between 1953 and 1964 he took part in 27 international matches with the Danish national team, including three at the 1960 Rome Olympics. There, Denmark was eliminated in the preliminary round after losing all of its games. He served as president of the club for over four decades, from 1951 through 1992, but by career was trained as a mason and owned and operated his business in Slagelse.
