Biography

During the 1950s and 1960s field hockey goalkeeper Ugo Zorco represented CUS Cagliari and the Italian national team. From 1958-60 Zorco made 12 appearances for the national side including playing in four matches at the 1960 Roma Olympics. The same year he took a break from the sport to study law but returned to play for his domestic side in 1967. His playing career lasted another year before he turned to coaching. Away from hockey Zorco worked as both an auditor and an appeals judge.
