Biography

Myrna Anselma became the first female to compete for the Netherlands Antilles at the Olympic Games when she entered the 1968 individual foil competition. Anselma was a seven-time Antillean Champion. She won a silver medal in foil at the 1970 Central American and Caribbean Games. She was also a founding member of the Olympians Association of the Netherlands Antilles, and was named “Miembro di Salon di Fama” by the Curaçao Sports Federation.
