Biography

Fencer Hans Brandstätter was the Austrian individual sabre champion 12 times in 1972-73, 1975, 1977, and 1979-86. He participated in three editions of the Olympics: 1972 at München, 1976 at Montréal, and 1984 at Los Angeles with little success. From 1975-80 he coached the sabre fencers at Fechtklub Spittal.
