Biography

James Moore was from Detroit, but attended Harvard, graduating in 1911. He wrote a hymn to be played at the university graduation ceremonies. He then started law school at Harvard but left to join the Army for World War I. In the War Moore was a 2nd Lieutenant initially, and left as a major with the 36th Infantry.
