Biography

Hou Rongsheng had his debut with the Kwong Wah team in the 1930s. From 1939 until his retirement in the mid-1950s Hou mostly played as a right back for Sing Tao, but also for South China, Eastern Sports Club, Kitchee SC, KMB and other teams. Hou represented Hong Kong in more than 50 matches until the mid-1950s, as well as the Republic of China in the 1948 London Olympics. He was later a member of the Taiwanese team winning football gold in the 1954 Manila Asian Games.
