Biography

Béla Sebestyén was a right-winger for the MTK football club from 1905-13, scoring 28 goals. He won one national championship and two national cup titles. Between 1906 and 1912 he played 24 matches with the Hungarian national team and scored two goals. Sebestyén was a member of the 1912 Hungarian Olympic team. On the national team, together with Sándor Bodnár, he was one of the best right wings in Europe. Sebestyén finished his football career relatively early, at the age of 28, after a serious injury.
