Biography

Alberto Fontanesi was a forward who played in Serie A from 1951-60 with SPAL Ferrara, SS Lazio, and Udinese. He played 240 Serie A matches, scoring 48 goals. Fontanesi earned three international caps, playing in two matches at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. He later played for the Azzurri against Sweden in Stockholm in October 1952.
