Biography

Bruno Venturini began playing football as a goalkeeper for the local side Carrarese Calcio in Prima Divisione in 1928. He later played in Serie A for ACF Fiorentina, three seasons with Sampierdarenese, and five seasons with AC Liguria. He also played in Serie B for Spezia Calcio 1906. He had special skills in commanding the defense thanks to his remarkable personality. Venturini played all four games in the 1936 Olympic tournament but never made it into the national team again.
