Biography

Mexican football midfielder Albino Morales joined Deportivo Toluca in 1962, winning the league title with the club in 1967 and 1968. After ten years with the side Morales spent brief spells with Club América and Guadalajara before playing one final season with Toluca in 1974–75, where he won a third league title. He made his international début for the Mexico football team in March 1963, playing three matches in six days in the inaugural CONCACAF Championship. In his second match Morales scored his only international goal during Mexico’s 8–0 win against Jamaica. The following year he was part of the squad that played in the football tournament at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Four years later Morales just missed out on an Olympic medal when Mexico finished fourth at the 1968 Mexico City Games.
