Biography

Nikolay Kynin played for Klub Sporta Orekhovo at the time he played for the Russian football team at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics. He helped them win Russian Championships in 1910 and 1914. The club was later taken over by the Soviet secret police force and renamed Dynamo Moskva, the name by which it was known through 2016. Kynin served in World War I. Little is known of his service or his death, but he was killed in action in 1916.
