Biography

Casey Bahr was the son of Walter Bahr, Sr., who played for the US at the 1948 Olympics and was a member of the US team at the 1950 World Cup that famously upset England. Casey was a soccer defender who played at the 1972 Olympics. He graduated from the US Naval Academy, where he made honorable mention All-American in 1968 and 1969. Casey later served in the US Navy and then played professional soccer with the Philadelphia Atoms of the North American Soccer League in 1973, and a few games in 1978 with the Philadelphia Fever of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
