Biography

Steve Moyers attended the University of Missouri at St. Louis where he played one year with the soccer (football) team. In 1977 he joined the St. Louis Stars of the North American Soccer League. In 1978 he moved to Los Angeles when the Stars became the California Surf and he played with them until 1981.

Moyers played for the New York Cosmos from 1982-84 and then finished his professional career with two years of indoor soccer with the St. Louis Steamers, Canton Invaders, and Milwaukee Wave. Moyers played for the US national team from 1980-84, earning seven caps.
