Biography

Timasitheos won two Olympic crowns in pankration, although we know of details for only one, and also won three pankration crowns at the Pythian Games. Timasitheos later became a famous soldier, but he fought with Isagoras of Athens when Isagoras attempted to take over the Akropolis. Timasitheos was taken prisoner and executed.
