Biography

Gertrude Gries was on the Austrian women’s gymnastics team that finished sixth at the 1948. London Olympics. Individually, she placed 41st. Gries represented Union Graz domestically. At the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, she helped the team place tenth and finished 91st individually. With the portable apparatus team, Gries placed ninth.
