Erau Carrington was a Panamanian baseball and softball umpire who officiated at national and international tournaments. Carrington began umpiring in national baseball tournaments at the 1987 National Youth Baseball Championship. From there he went on to officiate at several major international events, including the 2003 Baseball World Cup in Cuba and the 2004 Athina Olympics. Carrington was later involved in a car accident that resulted in him having a leg amputated. Despite this, he made a brief return to umpiring after receiving a prosthesis, before retiring permanently.
