Reinhard Rychly was an East German gymnast who won a team bronze medal at the 1972 München Olympic Games. Individually he finished 26th, and failed to reach the apparatus finals. Domestically, he never won a national title, but collected three silver medals. After his active career Rychly started coaching in Rostock, until 1994. After that, he was employed as a graduated sports teacher.
