Biography

John Dellert competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (36th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (30th); the individual all-around, field sports (74th); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (4th). Dellert represented the Concordia Turnverein in St. Louis. He was the brother of Charles Dellert, who also competed in 1904 turnverein gymnastics. John Dellert worked as a machinist and a carriage trimmer.
