Biography

Michael Lang competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (85th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (=78th); the individual all-around, field sports (83rd); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (13th). Lang represented the Turnverein Vorwärts in Cleveland. Lang was born in Germany but became a naturalized US citizen when his parents were naturalized. He later worked as a machinist and tool maker.
