Biography

Fred Schwind competed in three events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (22nd); the individual all-around, apparatus work (37th); and the individual all-around, field sports (=7th). Schwind represented the Central Turnverein in Chicago. He worked as a physical director on Chicago playgrounds and for the Chicago Board of Education.
