Biography

George Stapf competed in four events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (16th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (23rd); the individual all-around, field sports (=14th); and the team all-around, apparatus work and field sports (4th). Stapf represented the Concordia Turnverein in St. Louis. He was a St. Louis native who worked as a bookkeeper.
