Biography

Udo Röhrig was on the East German handball team at the 1972 München Olympics that unfortunately lost the bronze medal match, 19-16, against Romania. Domestically, he played with SC Magdeburg, helping them to win the East German Championship in 1970. After his playing career Röhrig turned to coaching.
