Biography

Annette Skotvoll was a goalkeeper who played in three consecutive Olympic tournaments. In addition, she also played in three World Championships, placing sixth in 1990 in Korea, winning the bronze in Norway in 1993 and placing fourth in the 1995 event held in Austria and Hungary. She was also part of the Norwegian medal-winning teams at two European championships; winning the bronze in Germany in 1994 and silver in Denmark in 1996.

Skotvoll played 250 international matches for Norway, and scored two goals. She played for Sjetne IL in the first half of her career, but then moved to Byåsen IL. She won the play-offs in 1993 with Sjetne, and won her only league title in 1998 with Byåsen. After retirement she was involved in Byåsen for many years as part of the coaching team.
