Biography

East German featherweight boxer Diego Drumm lost his first round bout against Bulgarian Kirkor Kirkorov at the 1988 Seoul Olympics by a 5-0 decision and was eliminated. Domestically, he won three silver medals from 1987-89, having won his first medal, a bronze, in 1986.

After German re-unification, Drumm was no longer involved with boxing, and was unemployed for a long time before getting a job with the Public Transport Company at Leipzig in 2010.
