Biography

Volkmar, brother of Dietmar Kuttelwascher, was an Austrian rower participating at the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. The brothers rowed with coxswain Markus Irle in the coxed pairs. The trio placed fourth in the B-final and finished tenth overall.

After studying economics at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Volkmar Kuttelwascher obtained a Master of International Business (MIB) from the University of Bergen, Norway. He began his professional career as a financial analyst at GE Capital. He then held positions in the finance department of renowned Austrian banks, including CA IB Investment Bank in London. In September 2012, Volkmar Kuttelwascher became Head of Finance and Accounting at VTB Bank (Austria) AG.
