Biography

Austrian Siegfried Sageder came from a rowing family as his father Alfred was a three-time Olympian from 1956-64. Siegfried crewed the quadruple sculls at the 1980 Moskva (Moscow) Games together with his brother Michael, Bruno Flecker and Rainer Holzhaider. The boat finished fourth in the B-final and tenth in the final ranking. Siegfried’s son Sebastian rowed at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
