Biography

Eugeniusz Kubiak was a Polish rower who was active during the 1960s, winning more than 50 international regattas. Kubiak was a 12-time national champion, winning seven consecutive titles in the single sculls (1961–67) and five consecutive titles in the double sculls (1960–64). In 1964 he competed in the single sculls at the Tokyo Olympics where he made it to the B Final but did not start the race. Kubiak had better performances at the European Championships where he remained consistent with his results, finishing fifth in 1963 and 1964, before coming fourth in 1965.
