Frank Frederick was known as the sparkplug of the 1928 Cal crew, mostly for his enthusiasm and optimistic attitude. He graduated from U Cal Berkeley in 1930. Frederick became a noted mining geologist in the northern California area. He was a member of the Order of the Golden Bear and the Geological Honor Fraternities.
