Biography

Alfred Sapecky sat in the stern of the US four without at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He attended the Bennett School and then Indianapolis Normal College, both in Buffalo. Sapecky represented the West Side Rowing Club in 1936. He served in the US Army from January 1943 to November 1945 during World War II. Prior to enlistment he had worked as a sports instructor.
