Biography

John Tandrevold boxed 31 bouts between 1947 and 1952, winning 23 and losing 8. He won four national titles, and in 1951 was awarded with the King’s Cup as the best boxer of the Norwegian Championships. He represented Norway in five international matches, with three wins. He also competed in the European Championships in 1949 and 1951. Tandrevold was from Stavanger, represented Stavanger IF, and was a goldsmith by profession.
