Carlos Burga was a Peruvian boxer who competed as a welterweight. Burga fought at the 1972 München Olympics where he beat Ketil Hodne before losing to Jesse Valdez. He later boxed at the Pan American Games in Mexico City and was a two-time Latin American welterweight champion. Burga died in January 2021 after he contracted the coronavirus.
