Erich Seidl was an Austrian weightlifter who participated in the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Games but could not finish the middle-heavyweight division as he had no valid lift in the clean & jerk section. Seidl won 24 Austrian national titles. He later became a state-certified weightlifting instructor and founded his own jumping sports fitness studio.
