Biography

Jenő Kuti started wrestling in 1930 for the MAC, then switched to weightlifting in 1933, winning the Budapest Championship in the featherweight in the same year. Between 1934 and 1936, he won the national championship three times, and in 1940 he won the team championship. He achieved national records several times during his career. In 1936, he took part in the Berlin Olympics, where he was injured during the press and eventually finished in 17th place. Outside of sports he worked as a chemist.
