Biography

Curt White was a US Champion in 1977, 1982-83, 1985-86, and 1988. In 1977 he was only 14-years-old, the youngest ever US weightlifting champion. His career in the late 1980s was hampered by back problems and he started working with a chiropractor to find relief. White had already graduated from the University of Charleston in Illinois, but his back injuries led him to return to school at Logan College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1988. He started practicing chiropractic in Danville, Illinois at The Back and Neck Pain Center, but later moved his practice to Morrisville, North Carolina, a suburb of Raleigh. White was inducted into the US Weightlifting Hall of Fame in 1998.
