Biography

Bernhoff Hansen won three matches at the 1904 Olympics, all by falls, the first of which took him only 23 seconds. Although still a Norwegian national in 1904, Hansen represented the Brooklyn Norwegian Turnverein, an American club, at the Olympics, which doubled in 1904 as the AAU tournament. In 1905 he defended his AAU title for his only other US championship.
