Biography

Sailor Hans-Jürgen Cochius of Yachtclub Berlin-Grünau participated in the 1968 Acapulco Olympic sailing events. At Acapulco he finished 12th in the Flying Dutchman class, partnering with Werner Christoph. Cochius and Christoph also earned five silver medals (1961, 1966, 1967, 1970, 1971) at the East German nationals and two golds in 1962 and 1969.
