Biography

In the 1964 Flying Dutchmen event, Lars Käll and his brother Stig stopped one of their races to help rescue the Australian team of John Dawe and Ian Winter, after their boat had capsized. For this unselfish act, in 1967 they were awarded the Tokyo Trophy, an International Fairplay Award, by the IOC.
