Biography

Frederick Shick sailed as a crew member in the 8-metre class aboard Angelita at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The Angelita arrived in København (Copenhagen) on 6 June 1936 and competed in the Scandinavian regatta circuit before going on to Kiel for the Olympic yacht races. Shick represented the South Coast Corinthian Yacht Club. He attended Cornell, graduating in 1936.
