Biography

Sprinter and hurdler Friedl Murauer was the Austrian champion in 100 metres (1958-59), 200 metres (1957-58), 4×100 relay (1957), and 80 metres hurdles (1957-58, and 1961). She was selected for the 1960 Rome Olympics where she was eliminated in the preliminaries of the 80 metres hurdles. She also participated in the 1958 European Championships over 100 and 200 metres and 80 metres hurdles.

Personal Best: 80H – 11.0 (1960).
