Biography

Brno-born Austrian track & field athlete Viktor Franzl was Austrian champion in the 110 metres hurdles (1913), pole vault (1913), long jump (1911 and 1913), and javelin throw (1913). At the 1912 Stockholm Olympics he finished 18th in the long jump and failed to reach the pole vault final. Franzl was affiliated with Brünner Sportvereinigung (1911-12), Wiener Athleten-Club Vídeň (1913-14), Brünner Sportklub (1919), and ASG Brünn (since 1920).

Personal Bests: PV – 3.70 (1921); LJ – 6.92 (1912).
