Biography

Lucie Petit-Diagre was a French athlete who later represented Belgium. Petit-Diagre represented France from 1921 to 1927. During this time she was the national champion in the two-handed shot put in 1923, the discus throw in 1924, and the one-handed shot put in 1927. Petit-Diagre then married a Belgian journalist, going on to represent that country. Petit-Diagre competed for Belgium in the discus throw at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. She finished in 20th place. In 1929 Petit-Diagre became the Belgian shot put champion. She died in December 2001 at the age of 100.
