Biography

Leonard Broers was a Belgian long-distance runner who represented Berchem Sport. Broers ran in the marathon at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics where he finished in 18th place. He was the best-placed Belgian in the race, finishing more than 10 minutes ahead of his nearest compatriot Gerard Steurs.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-44:37 (1928).
